SMS Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy describes how Campbell Business Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects the information of individuals who participate in our SMS text messaging program. This policy supplements our general Privacy Policy and applies specifically to data collected and used in connection with SMS communications.

1. Scope of This Policy

Our SMS program is intended for one-to-one business communications between individual employees of Campbell Business Solutions LLC and customers, partners, prospects, or other contacts who have provided their mobile number in the course of an existing or prospective business relationship. We do not use SMS for marketing broadcasts, promotional campaigns, or automated/API-driven messaging.

2. Information We Collect

When you participate in our SMS program, we may collect:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • Your name and any business contact details you      provide
  • The content of SMS messages exchanged between you and      your Campbell Business Solutions LLC contact
  • Metadata about messages, including timestamps and      delivery status
  • Records of your consent (opt-in), opt-out requests,      and HELP requests
  • Carrier      information necessary to deliver messages

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through our SMS program to:

  • Communicate with you about your account, services,      appointments, inquiries, or other business matters
  • Respond to your questions and requests
  • Coordinate meetings, deliverables, and follow-ups
  • Maintain records of consent and communications as      required by law
  • Comply with legal obligations, including      telecommunications regulations
  • Improve      the quality and security of our communications

We do not use SMS data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

4. Mobile Information and Third-Party Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories listed in Section 2 above, including your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in status, are excluded from any third-party sharing for marketing purposes.

We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: With trusted vendors (such      as Microsoft Teams, telecommunications carriers, and CRM providers) that      help us deliver and manage SMS communications. These providers are      contractually bound to use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal compliance: When required by law,      subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or to protect the      rights, property, or safety of Campbell Business Solutions LLC, our      employees, or others.
  • Business      transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or      sale of business assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not sell your mobile phone number or message content to any third party.

5. Consent and Opt-In

We send SMS messages only to individuals who have provided their mobile number to a Campbell Business Solutions LLC employee and consented to receive messages in connection with an existing or prospective business relationship. Consent is logged at the time it is provided.

6. Opt-Out and HELP

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further SMS messages from that number. To resume messages, reply START.

7. Message Frequency, Rates, and Carrier Disclaimer

Message frequency varies based on your business interactions and is typically low. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier plan. Campbell Business Solutions LLC is not responsible for charges from your carrier. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Data Retention

We retain SMS-related information for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested, maintain records of consent, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we securely delete or anonymize it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Our SMS program is not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect mobile numbers or other information from individuals under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us so we can delete it.
